What is SnowJapan.TV?
SnowJapan.TV is a site where you can view Japan winter sports-related video clips.... and also easily upload your own clips to share with the world!
A bit of history
The main SnowJapan website (www.snowjapan.com) has been online since 1999 and is the major Japan winter sports guide and online community. For more information on the main SnowJapan site and a general introduction to winter sports in Japan, please read this.
An original version of this video site, SnowJapan.TV, was launched in late 2007 as an addition to SnowJapan. SnowJapan.TV has now been re-launched with what we believe is a major improvement over the first version of the site. This new version is not just an upgrade of what we had before, but a complete re-working with totally new code.
The site that you are currently using is easier to use, simpler to navigate and offers much improved features and functionality. We have also spent time concentrating on eliminating some of the technical problems that we were experiencing with the original version.
All videos that were previously uploaded to SnowJapan.TV have been moved over onto this new site.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you were registered on the 'old' site, you will need to re-register on this new version. Unfortunately due to the complete rebuilding of the site and some associated security issues this was unavoidable. However, the registration process is very simple, free, and can be done here. If one of your videos has been moved over to this new site and you wish to login, please contact us as we will need to supply you with the correct login information for your new account. More help information can be found on the Help & FAQ page of the site.
